We have a few favorite food blogs. One of our favorites is PaleoLeap. This recipe for banana raisin cookies only takes 5 minutes to prep, 30 minutes to cook, and they are a much healthier substitute than your average cookie loaded with sugar (though for chocolate-cravers, you could always sub in some chocolate chips for raisins).

Check out the recipe below!

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas;
  • ¼ cup applesauce;
  • 3 cups almond meal;
  • ½ cup coconut flour;
  • ¼ cup coconut flakes;
  • ¼ cup full-fat coconut milk;
  • ½ cup raisins;
  • 1 tsp. vanilla;
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon;

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 F.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until you get a puree. Then add the remaining ingredients and combine until smooth.
  3. On a parchment-covered or lightly greased cooking sheet, drop large spoonfuls of the cookie mixture.
  4. Place the cookie sheet in the oven and bake 25 to 30 min or until golden.
  5. Serve warm.
