Q: Do you have any advice for people just getting started or new to CrossFit?
A: My advice for people starting CrossFit would be keep an open mind, work hard and just keep pushing yourself. You’ll be amazed at how fast you’ll see improvement.

Q: How has CrossFit enriched your life outside the gym?
A: CrossFit has not only improved my physical fitness but has also improved my overall happiness in life.

Q: Describe your biggest milestone, achievement, or “A-Ha” moment.
A: Biggest milestone so far is doing more than five pull ups in a row.

Q: What is your favorite CrossFit workout? Favorite exercise/skill?
A: Favorite movement: barbell thrusters

Q: If there were a WOD named after you, what would it have in it?
A: If I could have a WOD named after me it would have barbell thrusters, deadlifts, pull ups, and medicine ball sit ups.

Q: What is your favorite cheat meal?
A: pizza

Q: What is the first word that comes to mind when you hear these words?

A: “Pain is just weakness leaving the body.”

A: CrossFit should be standard in all school gym classes to teach kids a fun and effective way of exercise.

Q: Fun fact about you?
A: I’ve played competitive hockey since I was 6. I’ve traveled to over 20 different states, Canada several times, and now I play on a charity team that helps raises awareness for veteran suicide. The name of the foundation is Skate for the 22 Foundation.
